After the prosperity of the Monogram Cerise, Eye Love Monogram, Monogramouflage and Monogram Multicolore, Lv has been successful in planting its legendary designs in people`s mind, but imagination and innovation should not finish. Always looking for new methods to reinvent itself, the style house shipped a collaboration using the creative artist Takashi Murakami Japan - the Cosmic Blossom. Even though this collection was released last year, the unique design and special colors have managed to get rather worth collecting.
This time around Lv provided Takashi Murakami with a brand new canvas to convey his vision literally. Maybe it's difficult to make out the print inside a distance, however when you take a closer look, you'll find on the vibrant, block color background, Louis Vuitton`s legendary Monogram flowers jostling playfully with smiling flower faces. The flowers with smiling faces was really a theme in Murakami`s work, notoriously fusing manga graphics with traditional Japanese pictorial motifs. And it`s very difficult to not smile back.
Frivolous and cute, the Cosmic Blossom line has incorporated leather goods, ready to put on and add-ons. They are available in three beautifully girly shades. For leather goods, Lv is promoting a silkscreen-printed vinyl canvas, whose glossy finish very easily helps make the transition from city to beach.
